Human Rights in Armenia 2014

Helsinki Committee of Armenia has published “Human Rights in Armenia 2014” Annual Report.

The report reflects on the Right to Freedom of  Speech, Freedom of Peaceful Assembly and Association, Torture, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment, Political Persecutions, Freedom of Conscience and Religion, The Rights of the Child, Protection of Labor Rights.

For him, protecting human rights was about being on the frontline where things happened, where government abused the rights of citizens and disregarded the law.

A new report issued by the Helsinki Committee of Armenia states that over the period of time from 17 July to 5 August 2016 the rights of many citizens guaranteed by the Constitution of Armenia, the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, domestic legislation and other documents were violated by the actions undertaken and inaction demonstrated by the law
