The organization monitors closed institutions and the overall human rights situation in Bulgaria, provides free legal assistance to victims of serious human rights violations in strategically selected cases, provides legal assistance to refugees and migrants in relation to their status and residence in Bulgaria, and organizes campaigns to popularize human rights and the findings of the monitoring.
The organization works to promote respect for and uphold human rights, to bring Bulgarian legislation and administrative practices into line with international human rights standards, to ensure a full public debate on human rights issues, and to promote the idea of human rights among the general public.
