Verein Vielfalt (Club Diversity)

The Club Diversity is a not-for-profit, politically and denominationally independent association whose main focus is on the concerns of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans *, inter *, queer and other people (LGBTIQ +). The Diversity Association operates nationally and internationally, advocating a peaceful coexistence in our society in the firm conviction that it is conducive to the common good of society, if different ways of life respect, accept and treat each other with mutual respect. As a human rights organization, we are dedicated to the rights of LGBTIQ + persons in society, politics and churches and to draw attention to their implementation and compliance with appropriate projects and actions. All persons affected by discrimination also include LGBTIQ+ persons. That’s why we also fight against age, sex, ethnic, religious or disability discrimination and try to make it more visible. However, Article 1 of the Charter of Human Rights is always our guiding principle: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.”
