OSCE Parallel Civil Society Conference 2014
The Civic Solidarity Platform invites representatives of non-governmental organisations from throughout the OSCE region to participate in an OSCE Parallel Civil Society Conference that will take place 1-3 December 2014 in Basel, Switzerland.

Registration for the OSCE Parallel Civil Society Conference 2014
- Please apply for participation in the OSCE Parallel Civil Society Conference 2014 in Basel via the following link
- Application deadline is 31 October 2014.
- Please be reminded that submitting an application does not automatically guarantee your participation in the conference. Due to limited space and funding the number of participants will be limited to 100 representatives of civil society organisations from across the OSCE region. Geographic and thematic diversity as well as experience of organisations in working with the OSCE will be used as criteria for selection of participants. The Organising Committee of the OSCE Parallel Civil Society Conference 2014 will notify all applicants about results of the review of their applications at the latest by 10 November 2014.
Registration for the OSCE Ministerial Council 2014
- Please apply for accreditation as observers at the OSCE Ministerial Council 2014 in Basel via the following link
- Accreditation is open until 14 November 2014.
- Please note that space is limited and civil society representatives will only be permitted to enter the plenary hall for the opening and closing of the OSCE Ministerial Council.
Accommodation
- If you plan on covering your own travel and accommodation costs, please reserve your accommodation via the following link: (via “NGO/Media” button).
- If you require financial assistance regarding your travels and accommodation, please indicate it in the application form. The Organising Committee cannot guarantee that all requests for financial assistance will be satisfied.
Information on entry into Switzerland (Schengen Area)
- Switzerland participates in the Schengen Area. In case you need to apply for a Schengen visa, please check the website of the appropriate Swiss embassy/ consulate for information on the visa application procedure.
- Please note that the time needed for a visa request to be processed may vary from case to case. It is therefore strongly recommended to take the necessary steps well in advance, so that the visa can be issued in the time required.
- Complete visa applications for short stay visas (tourists, visitors, business) are in general processed within 10-15 days.
- The Organising Committee does not take any responsibility for declined visa requests or visas that are not granted on time.
